Cat/Kitten Health Guarantee And Adoption Contract

This guarantee/contract applies solely to the cat/kitten described below:

Seller Agrees To The Following:

1. Seller agrees to provide registration papers on this cat/kitten if purchased as a Pet, upon presentation of veterinarian's certificate of neuter or spay. If purchased as a Show or Breeder, Seller will provide registration papers upon Purchaser's notification that the cat/kitten is of agreed upon quality.

2. Health Guarantee: To the best of the Seller's knowledge, Purchaser is receiving a healthy cat/kitten free from infectious disease, or life threatening congenital defects. To validate this Guarantee, Purchaser must have his/her own veterinarian inspect said cat/kitten within seven (7) working days of purchase and if any serious or life threatening illness is found Purchaser must contact Seller, and may at his/her option, either 1) return said cat/kitten for full refund or 2) return said cat/kitten to Seller for replacement cat/kitten if available. Seller will not be responsible for veterinary expenses incurred by the Purchaser. Seller does not recommend FIP or FELeuk vaccine. If either of these vaccines is administered to the cat/kitten, this guarantee is null and void.

3. Since this cat/kitten is a living creature, Seller cannot guarantee the lifetime health of this animal, nor that it will not contract a viral or bacterial illness sometime in the future.

4. Health problems related to the environmental conditions including, but not limited to parasites, change in diet, allergies, and litter training are not covered in the health guarantee.

5. Problems stemming from failure to provide sanitary conditions including, but not limited to food, water, and waste disposal (litter box) are not covered in the health guarantee.

6. Declawing is NOT recommended. Any problems occurring from this action will NOT be covered in the health guarantee.

7.Vaccinations/Worming: SEE HEALTH RECORD DOCUMENT.

Purchaser Agrees To The Following:

1. Purchaser accepts full responsibility for this feline and providing for its welfare.

2. The Seller assumes no responsibility for this feline after leaving the premises for medical expenses or mortality. The Seller will not be responsible for injury to the feline after leaving the premises.

3. The Purchaser agrees that this feline will always receive prompt medical care, and will be kept up-to-date on vaccinations.

4. Under no circumstances will this cat/kitten be sold, leased, or given to any pet shop, research lab or similar facility.

5. Adequate indoor sanitary facilities will be provided and this cat/kitten will not be allowed to roam outdoors.

6. If this cat is found to be neglected, Purchaser will surrender said animal unconditionally and without any monetary compensation.

7. If for any reason Purchaser cannot care for the feline or decides they no longer want responsibility for the cat/kitten then the cat/kitten will be returned to the Seller without monetary compensation.

8. Purchaser agrees to abide by the spay or neuter clause listed above in relation to release of papers.
